Stop the Hurt Campaign promotes Stop Work Authority (SWA) in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Every worker has the right and obligation to stop jobs that they perceive is an imminent danger, unsafe condition or risky behavior that could result in injury and possibly the loss of life, per OSHA.

 

PBSTEPS Encourages SWA by contributing monetary awards to employees of these employers, for stopping work that could injure or cause death to raise awareness and promote Stop Work Authority. 

 

Four (4) participants will be selected from all entries to receive  and be presented with awards in June and December.
